Planning your session
If there are any questions send me a message via my contact page so I can answer those questions. From there, we’ll pick a date/time and location that works best and start preparing for the day of the photoshoot.
Session day
The day of the session I will send a reminder email with all the information needed for the session.
I recommend arriving about 5-10 minutes before the session begins unless otherwise informed due to location proximity to the parking lot. We’ll spend some time chatting about the session and walking to the location where we will start the session.
Online gallery
My turnaround time is typically 3 days. IF for whatever reason it will be longer than 3 days I will inform you! once your gallery is finished I will email you with the link to your online gallery and instructions on how to download your favorites and will include downloading pin. Additional photos are available to purchase through the online store.
Prints & albums
If you want to print your photos, you’ll be able to order all types of prints, wall art, greeting cards, or create a full family album, right inside your online gallery. You place the order, and everything gets delivered to your doorstep. I do not recommend printing at Walmart or Walgreens. CVS is ok as long as you turn off auto color correction off on EVERY photo but still be cautious printing here.
Preparing for your session
Sessions always feel best when you come as yourselves. Here are a few tips to help things feel relaxed and stress-free.
- Choose outfits that feel comfortable and true to you, I will offer suggestions on color pallets to help with what would go perfectly with the location.
- Focus on coordinating rather than matching outfits perfectly, if you match too well you blend as one.
- NO harsh patterns or neon (extra bright) colors. They don't photograph well
- Give yourself extra time before the session so things feel relaxed.
- Don’t stress if kids need breaks, I always let them take the lead! If they need breaks we will focus on you and your partner and go back to the kids.
- Feel free to bring snacks, comfort items, or favorite toys along.
- Don’t worry about posing or perfection, I’ll guide you throughout the session. Inspo photos are always welcome! if you don't have any that is fine I have plenty!
